Citrus Mod

Not a bad weekend. Dinner with family. Drum parts. Last night, we finally got some rain. Unfortunately, it was while we were playing. I got some of Harry's cymbals from Bill and Rick. Thanks guys. I put some heads on Bob's drums and trotted them out for the four people who showed up to see. Got the Zombiies dvd that just came out. I haven't watched it yet. The Sunday gig starts earlier now. Johanna built some butterflies so we let the last one go on Saturday. Welcome, new week!

what's up with your snare stand?

Huh. Someone else who only has 4 people turn out for a gig, eh? And I thought we were the only ones.

Of course, it doesn't rain on our gig. I wish we could blame it on that... Ours is just in a ridiculous location.

Que? Nothing wrong with the snare stand, pansy. Check some of your favorite jazz drummers and/or 1960's Charlie Watts and you'll find something similar. Why's yer bloggy private, primate? Not a fair fight.

my blog ain't private, it's just empty, as in, nothing's there. i can only react to what others say, i'm not capable of saying anything on my own. or something like that. actually, i'm only capable of blogging on myspace, that's what the contract says.

you guys are both spoiled. i've had night where 5 people showed up at the gig, and those 5 people were the band plus a bartender. it's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll.

Apparently, I'd better find something else to bitch about besides "No one showed up at our gig!"

That shouldn't be too tough.

Oh, Yeah? I've showed up at a gig and the guitar player only had five strings and no pick and the five strings were on my guitar he was borrowing...right, Trevor?
